1:1 Executive Coaching

With a huge emphasis placed on the importance of building outstanding relationships in order to be truly effective in the workplace, it is obvious that priority number one is to build the foundation of the relationship between you the client and us as your coach.

You are encouraged to ask any questions you like of your coach and find out everything you need to know about the company, the coach, the person and their relevant experiences, so that you feel totally comfortable with the person you will be working with.

We then begin to establish any specific outcomes you are looking for from your engagement with your coach. We should agree how we will operate, how to meet/speak/contact each other to ensure clarity from both parties on the way forward.

Then we are away….we will seek to find out everything necessary about you and your world to establish how things are today. At the appropriate time we will then explore the possibilities of tomorrow and how you would ideally like things to be…your ideal picture of success. We will discover what you want to do and who you want to be. Once we have this clear, we can design some specific long, medium and short term goals around not just business, but also relationships and even personal goals to help realise your true potential and ideal aspirations.

Throughout these discussions your coach will be building up a picture of your behaviours, characteristics, traits, habits, coping strategies, default mechanisms, mode of operation etc… ….what you are like!

We now have clarity on today…who you are and what you do… and tomorrow…who you want to be and what you want to achieve. The responsibility of your coach is to help you move from one place to the other, hence why we sometimes refer to it as your journey. Of course, as with any journey there will be obstacles, issues, diversions, short-cuts and set-backs along the way. With the help of your coach you can figure out the best way to handle these challenges, more often than not before they actually happen.

A key part of 1:1 coaching is the discussion around your ‘Front of Mind’ challenges. You and your coach will highlight these and figure out the best way possible to handle these successfully. It may be…that important meeting, the crucial presentation but (from years of our experience), it is likely to be…. that conversation (you know the one…the one that has been playing on your mind and you have been putting off for ages!)

So after a vibrant, thought- provoking and enlightening coaching session you will be ready, able and feeling more confident than ever of achieving a successful outcome.

The desired outcome of your coach will be that you have clarity and urgency on what you need to do and who you need to be to progress towards your designed goals.
